House Majority PAC and the AFSCME released a TV ad criticizing businessman Stewart Mills (R), including clips of him talking about his opposition to higher taxes. The ad clips together several segments: “Folks saying that … the wealthy are not paying their fair share … the 2 percent, the 1 percent, whatever percent you want … is personally offensive.” The ad then criticizes Mills for inheriting much of his wealth and opposing a minimum wage hike. (release)

Mills said at a 2013 rally: “We donate to charity, we help with events, we do a lot of things for this community, and to be singled out as a deadbeat is personally offensive.”
