Hill’s Stance Unclear on State Minimum-Wage Increase

Busi­ness­man French Hill (R) has changed his po­s­i­tion sev­er­al times on Arkan­sas’s bal­lot ini­ti­at­ive to raise its min­im­um wage, say­ing in June that he would op­pose a state or fed­er­al min­im­um wage in­crease, then say­ing twice this month that he might sup­port it if it does not harm job cre­ation, but once this month say­ing he would not sup­port it.
