DCCC Raises $10.2 Million to NRCC’s $4.4 Million

Committees to run new ads this week in 13 districts.

The Na­tion­al Re­pub­lic­an Con­gres­sion­al Com­mit­tee an­nounced that it raised $4.4 mil­lion in Au­gust, less than half of the Demo­crat­ic Con­gres­sion­al Cam­paign Com­mit­tee’s $10.2 mil­lion. The DCCC had $54.5 mil­lion cash on hand to the NR­CC’s $45.7 mil­lion. (Roll Call)

The NR­CC has ob­tained a $20 mil­lion cred­it line with Wells Fargo, but it is un­likely to use that en­tire amount. It took out a $12 mil­lion loan last cycle. (Politico)

COM­MIT­TEES TO RUN ADS IN 13 DIS­TRICTS. The DCCC and NR­CC will both run ads this week in Rep. Mike Coff­man’s (R-CO 06) dis­trict. The DCCC will also run ads back­ing Reps. Eliza­beth Esty (D-CT 05), Cheri Bus­tos (D-IL 17), and Ann Kuster (D-NH 02). The NR­CC will run ads back­ing Rep. Steve South­er­land (R-FL 02) and against Reps. Ann Kirk­patrick (D-AZ 01), Ron Barber (D-AZ 02), Ami Be­ra (D-CA 07), John Bar­row (D-GA 12), Col­lin Peterson (D-MN 07), Rick No­lan (D-MN 08), Tim Bish­op (D-NY 01), and Nick Ra­hall (D-WV 03).
