REPUBLICAN OUTSIDE GROUPS MAKE RESERVATIONS. Outside groups that had held off on spending in House races have made moves in the last two weeks in competitive races. The American Action Network spent $4 million in AZ-01, AZ-02, CA-07, FL-26, NY-01, MN-08, and TX-23. The Congressional Leadership Fund spent $2.6 million in AZ-02, CA-52, TX-23, and VA-10. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent $1.2 million in NY-18, NY-19, NY-21, PA-06, and VA-10, bringing its total to $3.5 million in House races. Freedom Partners Action Fund spent $700,000 in FL-02, FL-26, and WV-03. And American Crossroads spent $1.6 million in AR-02.
