McCarthy Covers 100 Districts by Election Day

Republican outside groups get involved late.

House Ma­jor­ity Lead­er Kev­in Mc­Carthy (R) will have cam­paigned in 100 dis­tricts sup­port­ing House can­did­ates, in­clud­ing a late tour for more than 20 can­did­ates in Cali­for­nia, Maine, New York, New Hamp­shire, New Jer­sey, Vir­gin­ia, and Geor­gia. (Politico)

RE­PUB­LIC­AN OUT­SIDE GROUPS MAKE RE­SER­VA­TIONS. Out­side groups that had held off on spend­ing in House races have made moves in the last two weeks in com­pet­it­ive races. The Amer­ic­an Ac­tion Net­work spent $4 mil­lion in AZ-01, AZ-02, CA-07, FL-26, NY-01, MN-08, and TX-23. The Con­gres­sion­al Lead­er­ship Fund spent $2.6 mil­lion in AZ-02, CA-52, TX-23, and VA-10. The U.S. Cham­ber of Com­merce spent $1.2 mil­lion in NY-18, NY-19, NY-21, PA-06, and VA-10, bring­ing its total to $3.5 mil­lion in House races. Free­dom Part­ners Ac­tion Fund spent $700,000 in FL-02, FL-26, and WV-03. And Amer­ic­an Cross­roads spent $1.6 mil­lion in AR-02.
