American Action Network Spends $525,000 Thanking Republicans for Funding DHS

It will air TV ads thanking Ellmers, Brooks, Young, Benishek.

Amer­ic­an Ac­tion Net­work is spend­ing $525,000 on ads and phone calls sup­port­ing Re­pub­lic­ans who voted to fund the De­part­ment of Home­land Se­cur­ity. It will spend $350,000 on tele­vi­sion ads thank­ing Reps. Ren­ee Ellmers (R-NC 02), Susan Brooks (R-IN 05), Todd Young (R-IN 09), and Dan Ben­ishek (R-MI 01).

In ad­di­tion to the TV ads, it will launch a “six-fig­ure” di­git­al cam­paign thank­ing 16 mem­bers, and will spend $50,000 for a “live op­er­at­or” cam­paign in 75 dis­tricts. (Politico)
