DCCC Targets 15 Republicans with Print Ads on Pell Grants

Criticizes 15 vulnerable Republicans on education portion of budget.

The Demo­crat­ic Con­gres­sion­al Cam­paign Com­mit­tee will run ads in stu­dent news­pa­pers, cri­ti­ciz­ing 15 Re­pub­lic­ans for vot­ing for the House budget that calls for a 10-year freeze on the max­im­um Pell grant award.

The ads will at­tack Reps. Martha Mc­Sally (R-AZ 02), Dav­id Jolly (R-FL 13), Car­los Cur­belo (R-FL 26), Rod Blum (R-IA 01), Dav­id Young (R-IA 03), Mike Bost (R-IL 12), Bruce Poli­quin (R-ME 02), John Kline (R-MN 02), Frank Guinta (R-NH 01), Joe Heck (R-NV 03), Cresent Hardy (R-NV 04), Lee Zeld­in (R-NY 01), John Katko (R-NY 24), Ry­an Cos­tello (R-PA 06), and Bar­bara Com­stock (R-VA 10).
