American Action Network spent $1.8 million on TV, radio, print, and digital ads in 76 districts “of members of Congress who voted to balance the budget, protect Medicare for seniors, and replace Medicare’s failed Sustainable Growth Rate (SGR) payment system.”
The group spent $350,000 on four TV ads supporting eight members, $75,000 on radio ads for four members, and $1.1 million in mail and print ads thanking 42 members, and $250,000 in digital ads thanking 66 members.
The TV ads will support Reps. Diane Black (R-TN 06), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN 07), Dan Newhouse (R-WA 04), Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA 05), Todd Young (R-IN 09), Brett Guthrie (R-KY 02), Bill Huizenga (R-MI 02), and Fred Upton (R-MI 06).
The radio ads will support Upton and Reps. David Valadao (R-CA 21), Rodney Davis (R-IL 13), and Renee Ellmers (R-NC 02). (release)
