Tester to Await Outcome of Menendez Trial Before Returning Money

He received $10,000 from Menendez’s PAC in 2011.

Sen. Jon Test­er (D-MT) “will await the out­come of crim­in­al cor­rup­tion charges against Sen. Robert Men­en­dez (D-NJ) be­fore de­cid­ing wheth­er to keep $10,000 he re­ceived from” Men­en­dez’s New Mil­len­ni­um PAC in 2011. Test­er will donate to char­ity if Men­en­dez is con­victed.

Some Demo­crat­ic sen­at­ors have de­cided to re­turn the money they re­ceived from Men­en­dez’s PAC and the Montana Re­pub­lic­an Party is put­ting pres­sure on Test­er to also re­turn it “im­me­di­ately.” (USA Today)
