Con­gres­sion­al can­did­ates were re­quired to file their fun­drais­ing re­ports for the first quarter of the year — Janu­ary through the end of March — last night at mid­night. Be­low are the fun­drais­ing fig­ures for can­did­ates in some of the most com­pet­it­ive dis­tricts and in up­com­ing spe­cial elec­tions.

SWING DIS­TRICTS

AZ-01Rep. Ann Kirk­patrick (D) raised $312,000 and had $296,000 cash on hand.

AZ-02 Rep. Martha Mc­Sally (R) raised $595,000 and had $820,000 cash on hand.

CA-07 Rep. Ami Be­ra (D) raised $308,000 and had $353,000 cash on hand.

CA-10Rep. Jeff Den­ham (R) raised $179,000 and had $1.3 mil­lion cash on hand.

FL-02Rep. Gwen Gra­ham (D) raised $527,000 and had $507,000 cash on hand.

FL-26Rep. Car­los Cur­belo (R) raised $645,000 and had $690,000.

IA-01Rep. Rod Blum(R) raised $119,000 and had $644,000 cash on hand. Ce­dar Rap­ids Coun­cil­wo­man Mon­ica Ver­non (D) raised $190,000 and also loaned her cam­paign $110,000, fin­ish­ing the quarter with $290,000 cash on hand. Hotel chain own­er Ravi Pa­tel (D) raised $540,000 and had $498,000 cash on hand.

IA-03Rep. Dav­id Young (R) raised $333,000 and had $351,000 cash on hand.

IL-10Rep. Bob Dold (R) raised $591,000 and had $632,000 cash on hand. High­land Park May­or Nancy Roter­ing (D) raised $326,000 and had $382,000 cash on hand. 

IL-12Rep. Mike Bost (R) raised $406,000 and had $393,000 cash on hand.

ME-02Rep. Bruce Poli­quin (R) raised $690,000 and had $666,000 cash on hand. Former state Sen. Emily Cain (D) raised $135,000 and had $126,000 cash on hand.

MN-08Rep. Col­lin Peterson (D) raised $127,500 and had $150,000 cash on hand.

MN-07Rep. Rick No­lan (D) raised $277,000 and had $244,000 cash on hand.

NE-02Rep. Brad Ash­ford (D) raised $199,000 and had $163,000 cash on hand.

NH-01Rep. Frank Guinta (R) raised $316,000 and had $312,000 cash on hand. Former Rep. Car­ol Shea-Port­er (D), who has not said if she’ll run again, raised $1,338 and had $11,481 cash on hand. Test prep busi­ness own­er Shawn O’Con­nor (D) loaned his cam­paign $500,000 and raised an­oth­er $92,000 since he star­ted fun­drais­ing in Feb­ru­ary.

NV-04Rep. Cresent Hardy (R) raised $292,000 and had $306,000 cash on hand.

NY-01Rep. Lee Zeld­in (R) raised $457,000 and had $426,000 cash on hand.

PA-08State Rep. Steve Santar­siero (D) raised $221,000 and had $204,000 cash on hand. Chem­ist and busi­ness­wo­man Shaugh­nessy Naughton (D) raised $141,000 and had $129,000 cash on hand.

TX-23Rep. Will Hurd (R) raised $510,000 and had $505,000 cash on hand.

MS-01Trans­port­a­tion Com­mis­sion­er Mike Tagert (R) raised $247,000 last quarter and has $161,000 cash on hand. At­tor­ney Chip Mills (R) raised $101,000 and has $85,000 cash on hand. At­tor­ney Henry Ross (R) raised $84,000 and has $81,000 cash on hand. Busi­ness­man Boyce Adams (R) raised $78,000.00 and has $63,498.27 cash on hand. Busi­ness­man Sam Ad­cock (R) raised $65,000 and has $154,000 cash on hand. Phys­i­cian Star­ner Jones (R) raised $28,000 and has $143,000 cash on hand. State Sen. Nancy Collins (R) raised $13,680 and has $1,780 cash on hand.

Fun­drais­ing dis­clos­ures from Dis­trict At­tor­ney Trent Kelly (R), at­tor­ney Greg Pirkle (R), at­tor­ney Daniel Sparks (R), at­tor­ney Quentin Whit­well (R), and busi­ness­man Danny Bed­well (L) were not avail­able on the FEC’s site as of Thursday morn­ing.

Deputy press secretary Raj Shah "has told multiple people he plans to leave the West Wing following the confirmation process for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Shah has been leading the communications efforts in support of the confirmation process since Kavanaugh’s nomination in July. Two sources familiar with Shah’s thinking said he thought that helping to shepherd the successful confirmation would allow him to end his White House tenure on a high note."

Cosby Sentenced to at Least Three Years

Bill Cosby has been sentenced to no less than three and no more than 10 years in Pennsylvania prison. "Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Judge Steven T. O’Neill announced the sentence Tuesday. He also said Cosby must pay a $25,000 fine and the costs of prosecution. O’Neill also ruled Tuesday morning that Cosby should be designated as a sexually violent predator."
