Swing-District Lawmakers Co-Sponsor Bill Against First-Class Flights for Members

Bill would bar lawmakers from using official funds on first-class flights.

A bi­par­tis­an col­lec­tion of House law­makers, many fa­cing tough reelec­tion bids, joined Reps. Paul Gos­ar (R-AZ 04) and Raul Ruiz (D-CA 36) to co-spon­sor a bill that would bar law­makers from us­ing of­fi­cial funds to fly first-class.

Co-spon­sors in­clude Reps. Mark Amod­ei (R-NV 02), Ju­lia Brown­ley (D-CA 26), Car­los Cur­belo (R-FL 26), Scott Des­Jar­lais (R-TN 04), Raul Gri­jalva (D-AZ 03), Wal­ter Jones (R-NC 03), Dav­id Joyce (R-OH 14), Ann Kirk­patrick (D-AZ 01), Steve Pearce (R-NM 02), Tom Rice (R-SC 07), Pete Ses­sions (R-TX 32), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ 09), Scott Tipton (R-CO 03), and Ry­an Zinke (R-MT at large).
