The Koch-backed group Freedom Partners has put down about $4.5 million in Oregon, New Hampshire and Louisiana, including a post-general election buy in Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D) race. The group said it planned to spend $15 million on midterm races when it was launched.

In Oregon, they’re spending $1.9 on cable and broadcast ads to run in the Bend, Eugene, Medford and Portland markets between Aug. 6 and Election Day. “Their first week on the air, the group will drop $637,000 on television — three times more than Sen. Jeff Merkley (D) has spent on TV during the entire campaign.”

In New Hampshire, they’ve purchased $1.8 million in ads from Sept. 9 and through Election Day.

In Louisiana they’ve put down $890,000 on ads set to run between Nov. 5 and Dec. 6, ahead of the potential runoff election there. (Washington Post)
