Rep. Paul Broun (R-10) signed on to Rep. Shelley Moore Capito's (R-WV) bill to end health care subsidies for members of Congress under the Affordable Care Act on Thursday. Broun went on to vow to return the subsidies to the Treasury until Obamacare is fully repealed. (release)
Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-11) has introduced simliar legislation, as 2010 GOV nominee/former Secretary of State Karen Handel (R) continues to hit all three members of Congress on the issue.
In a separate statement on Thursday, Broun accused Rep. Jack Kingston (R-01) of hypocrisy over his "professed outrage" at the Palestinian Authority giving "cash grants to convicted terrorists," noting that Kingston has voted three times to give U.S. aid money to the Palestinian Authority. (release)
