Washington Is Open Again

Federal employees are going back to work. Tourists have access to the memorials. White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough is high-fiving his staff. Yes, the government is back open.

After two weeks of a stalemate, Congress finally passed legislation late on Wednesday night to fund the government and extend the debt ceiling for a few more months.
