Flores, 52, has a background in environmental law. He came to Judiciary from the Environmental Protection Agency in 2007, where he had served in a variety of roles, and he was a trial attorney for the Justice Department's environmental section. His expertise has expanded to include antitrust, bankruptcy, and state taxation of interstate commerce.
