The Spanish-language Obamacare website will begin accepting enrollments early next month, Talking Points Memo reports.
CuidadoDeSalud.gov—the Spanish-language version of HealthCare.gov that was supposed to be delayed until mid-October, and then until the end of November—will have a "soft launch" in the beginning of December so that the Obama administration can identify and fix problems before consumers flock to the site, a senior administration offical told TPM.
An estimated 10.2 million uninsured Latinos will be eligible for coverage under the law, according to numbers from the Health and Human Services Department.
The deadline to sign up for coverage beginning Jan. 1 is Dec. 23.
