Republicans narrate Phil Bredesen and Debbie Stabenow's latest ads.

Sept. 24, 2018, 11:01 a.m.

"Priorities USA Action and Senate Majority PAC are launching a seven-figure digital advertising campaign across Florida, Arizona, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakota focused on motivating and mobilizing African-American, Latinx and younger voters. ... The campaign will highlight specific issues affecting these communities, as well as the importance of voting and making their voices heard. The ads will appear wherever voters are consuming content online, including Facebook, Google, Pinterest and video and audio streaming services such as YouTube, Hulu and Spotify." (release)

FL SEN: "A new ad from" Gov. Rick Scott (R) nicks Sen. Bill Nelson (D) "for working a three-day work week and missing national security meetings. 'It’s time to retire "No Show" Nelson and give him the rest of the week off,' a narrator says at the ads closing." (Florida Politics)

MI SEN: Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D) released a TV ad Friday highlighting her bipartisan advocacy for agriculture. Kent County Farm Bureau President Jim May, a Republican: “I’ve seen a lot of politicians. Senator Debbie Stabenow is a lot different. She’s concerned about people, jobs, and what’s going on in the State of Michigan.” (release)

MO SEN: “An ad airing on Missouri radio attempts to rally voters against” Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) “by warning that she supports ‘teaching about Islam’ in schools. … The ad is the work of Stars and Stripes Forever PAC, which supported Ben Carson during the 2016 presidential election but has reoriented its mission to oppose Democrats in the midterm elections. … The ad is part of $23,557 [John Philip Sousa IV's] group has spent on anti-McCaskill advertising so far this cycle. … Stars and Stripes Forever is also airing radio spots on other subjects in Missouri, in addition to ads in several other states, Sousa said. … It's unclear what, if any, specific policy the ad is referring to.” (CNN)

MT SEN: The NRSC released a TV ad Friday calling Sen. Jon Tester (D) the “No. 1” recipient of “cash from lobbyists” while skipping “76 percent of important committee hearings.” (release)

ND SEN: Rep. Kevin Cramer (R) launched a TV and digital ad Monday highlighting the "booming" economy. Cramer: “In the Senate, I’ll fight to make sure our country’s economy stays on track.” (release)

PA SEN: Rep. Lou Barletta’s (R) latest TV ad features a woman who promises to list “everything” Sen. Bob Casey (D) “has done as our senator,” followed by 25 second of silence and an on-screen statement that “Casey has been rated one of the least effective senators twice.” (release)

TN SEN: Former Gov. Phil Bredesen (D) released a TV and digital ad on Monday slamming tariffs on soybeans and other crops as "hurting our farmers and costing us manufacturing jobs." Bredesen: "That's not how you get fair trade. You use America's leverage to open markets, not to close them." (release)

Bredesen also released a TV and digital ad on Friday featuring Republicans who say they are supporting him “because he can work across the aisle and work with both parties” often at the expense of his own to be “fiscally responsible” and “to bring Volkswagen to town.” Office manager Sally Gracey concludes: “Phil’s certainly different than the crowd in Washington.” (release)
