The NRSC released a TV ad Wednesday accusing Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D) and Hillary Clinton of supporting sanctuary cities, in contrast to her TV ads touting her independence. The spot closes: "We see right through her act." (release)

Heitkamp launched a statewide TV and digital ad Wednesday that praises her ability to get “safer rail cars” and “training and resources” for first responders after the 2013 crude-oil train derailment in Casselton. Casselton Fire Chief Tim McLean: “Heidi’s a force of nature. I don’t want to lose her.” (release)

One Nation “posted a new attack ad on Tuesday, accusing … Heitkamp of voting against ‘billions of dollars in funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ and breaking her promise to treat veterans appropriately. To back-up this claim, they note that she twice voted against a 2016 short-term continuing resolution.” (ThinkProgress)
