The non-special election races that have seen the most TV and radio ad spending so far among each office are the contests for Illinois governor ($76 million), Florida Senate ($26.2 million), and California's 49th District ($9 million), NBC News reported. And thanks to the governor race, the Chicago media market has seen $50.3 million in ad spending.
