Rep. Jacky Rosen (D) started a Spanish-language TV ad on Thursday that “will run on Telemundo in Las Vegas around coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.”

The announcer: “This is our moment of pride, when our teams leave everything on the field. … And here in Nevada, we will do the same. Jacky Rosen is the Democratic Congresswoman who is not afraid to stand up to Trump. Fighting for a path for Dreamers toward a secure future. And against Trump’s dirty game of separating mothers from their children.” (release)

FIGHT NIGHT. Rosen this week sent a letter to Sen. Dean Heller (R) “requesting three debates to take place after Labor Day.”

Campaign Manager Danny Kazin: “Out of respect for the growing role of Nevada’s Latino electorate, one or more of these debates must be hosted and broadcast by a Spanish-language television station. This will not be negotiable. The Nevada Independent and KLAS-TV in Las Vegas must also be included as debate hosts. … [O]ne of these debates must be held in Northern Nevada.” (release)
