May 23, 2018, 10:28 a.m.

DCCC-preferred candidates handily won runoffs in the race to face Reps. John Culberson (R-07), Will Hurd (R-23) and Pete Sessions (R-32), all of whom hold districts that Hillary Clinton carried. The DCCC also touted the runoff win by Air Force veteran MJ Hegar. She will face Rep. John Carter (R-31) in November. (Secretary of State)

WIN FOR THE CLUB. The other winner on Tuesday night: the Club for Growth. Ron Wright, Chip Roy and Michael Cloud all advanced with Club support, though Bunni Pounds lost. (Texas Tribune)
