Pyle piles into crowded race

Republican state Sen. Dennis Pyle announced Wednesday that he is joining a crowded primary to replace Republican Rep. Lynn Jenkins of Kansas. Pyle will be the fourth current state legislator to run as a Republican for the 2nd District seat, joining state Sens. Steve Fitzgerald and Caryn Tyson and state Rep. Kevin Jones. In 2010, Pyle challenged Jenkins in the primary and lost with close to 43 percent of the vote.

Vukmir labeled "true conservative" in $500K ad buy

The Wisconsin Next PAC released an ad Wednesday that highlights the Republican Party endorsement of state Sen. Leah Vukmir’s run for Senate. The ad, backed by a $500,000 buy, labels Vukmir as a “true conservative.”

ECU releases ad for Porter

End Citizens United released a new digital ad supporting former housing-bubble whistle-blower Katie Porter in California’s 45th District, currently held by Republican Rep. Mimi Walters. The ad mentions Porter’s endorsements from Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, and her refusal to accept corporate PAC donations.
