PPP conducted the surveys, most of which showed Republicans leading by single-digit margins.

Patriot Majority USA, a Democratic super PAC, found close races in 12 House districts on the outer edges of the battlefield. Republicans led by single-digits in most of the matchups tested by Public Policy Polling in mid-April. But the group noted that though “Democratic candidates may be down in initial matchups, overall they receive more support than Republican candidates among voters who are ‘very excited’ to vote this year. In all districts, voters have a more negative opinion of the Republican health care plan than they do the Republican tax plan.” (release)
