State Sen. Chris McDaniel (R) “is sending a letter to TV stations to ‘demand’ they stop airing ads by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce calling him a trial lawyer. … McDaniel on Friday fired off a letter to state TV stations calling the ad ‘a blatantly false claim about his role as an attorney.’ He said he ‘has a long history of defending businesses and individuals from civil lawsuits.’” (Jackson Clarion-Ledger)
