Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) campaign hired three new staffers: Rusty Schultz as digital director, Austin Altenburg as spokesman and press secretary, and Ben Stelter as rapid response coordinator.

Schutlz until recently was state Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke’s (R) chief of staff and previously managed digital, mail, and communications for the Republican Assembly Campaign Committee.

Altenburg, who previously served as deputy press secretary for Sen. Ron Johnson (R), is replacing Nathan Craft, who is returning to Walker’s official office to work.

Stelter previously worked at the state Republican Party. (release)
