Technology executive Bruce Crochetiere (R) “has been speaking with other Republicans and is strongly considering running for the seat” for retiring Rep. Carol Shea-Porter’s (D) seat.

“While he declined to talk about the details of a potential campaign or his positon on issues, he did say that he expects to make a decision on whether to run ‘very soon.’ Other Republicans speculated that Crochetiere, if he runs, could be the self-funder the national GOP leaders are looking for, given fundraising difficulties faced so far by the other GOP candidates in the race.”

“A Methuen, Massachusetts native, Crochetiere said he has been a resident of New Hampshire—specifically Hampton Falls—for 14 years. He founded Focus Technology Solutions, which he described as a ‘technology solutions company’ for businesses, 20 years ago.” (WMUR)
