Messer Launches First TV Ad

His two daughters narrate the spot.

Rep. Luke Messer (R-06) released his first TV ad Thursday. It features his two daughters who talk up his support for President Trump, family values, and desire to “change the Senate.”

The ad, backed by nearly a quarter of a million dollars, will initially run in the Fort Wayne and South Bend markets. “Digital versions will roll out on social media.” (Washington Examiner)

All three Republicans have no been on air the ahead of the May 8 primary, as Messer's ad follows TV spots from Rep. Todd Rokita (R-04) and former state Rep. Mike Braun (R).

OUTSIDE HELP. "American Economic Freedom Alliance has purchased more than $200,000 worth of airtime for an ad buy backing Messer on broadcast and Fox News, according to Advertising Analytics. The buy starts tomorrow and runs through March 20. The spot touts Messer's support for tax reform and ending tax credits for illegal immigrants." (Politico)
