State Rep. David Richardson (D) released a video attacking former University of Miami President Donna Shalala (D) for her tenure as President Bill Clinton’s health secretary.

“Donna had an opportunity many years ago to be a champion for Medicare-for-All,” he says in the spot. “But she chose not to. And when she left government service she went through that revolving door that we often hear about and landed at one of the biggest insurance companies in the country.”

Richardson is a leading fundraising in the race to replace retiring Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R). Shalala is set to enter the race this week and shake up an already crowded field.
