Sen. Roger Wicker (R) bought five digital billboards in Jones County and went up with more Friday through Saturday in North Mississippi and in Rankin County.

The Jones County ones show President Trump’s Twitter endorsement of Wicker. Billboards on I-20 running Friday through Saturday “coincide with [state Sen. Chris] McDaniel’s (R) campaign announcement tour event there and feature quotes from Hillary Clinton and … McDaniel about Donald Trump supporters.”

Wicker also launched a website, www.RealChrisMcDaniel.com, that shows McDaniel’s past attacks about Trump. (release)

Scott joins several other Democrats in the primary, including state House Minority Leader David Baria (D).
