A new Public Policy Polling survey showed attorney Brent Welder (D) ahead of Rep. Kevin Yoder (R) 49 percent to 42 percent, with 9 percent undecided.
The survey (Feb. 14-15; 315 LVs; +/- 5.5%) was conducted on behalf of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. President Trump’s approval was underwater at 41/56 in the district. (release)
Welder faces teacher Tom Niermann (D) in the Democratic primary. One-time front-runner Andrea Ramsey (D) dropped out last year after it became pubic that a former employee accused her of sexual harassment.
