Emineth drops out of Senate race in N.D.

Former North Dakota Republican Party Chairman Gary Emineth announced Tuesday he will be dropping out of the race to challenge Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp so that the GOP can unite behind Rep. Kevin Cramer. According to the Associated Press, Emineth said he’s talked to Cramer “several times in the past week and expects him to enter the race.”

Court will draw Pennsylvania map for 2018

Pennsylvania’s Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf rejected a congressional map drawn by the Republican-controlled General Assembly, saying it “maintains a similar partisan advantage” to the 2011 map struck down by the state Supreme Court. The court will now oversee the map for the 2018 elections.

Kochs will back Blackburn over Corker

The Koch political network will continue to back Rep. Marsha Blackburn‘s Senate bid in Tennessee, even if Sen. Bob Corker decides to run again, Buzzfeed reported. Blackburn attended the network’s annual Palm Springs retreat last month to meet with donors.
