Poll: Scott Up 10 Points Over Nelson

Scott's name recognition has improved.

A new poll from the Florida Atlantic University Business and Economic Polling Initiative (online + IVR) (Feb. 1-4; 750 respondents; +/- 3.7%) found Gov. Rick Scott (R) leading Sen. Bill Nelson (D) 44-34 percent. ”Scott has seen his name recognition improve from 49% favorable and 39% unfavorable in November 2017 to 52% favorable and 34% unfavorable. Nelson has seen his name recognition move in the other direction from a 45% favorable and 22% unfavorable opinion in November to a 40% favorable and 27% unfavorable opinion.” (release)
