CVA Launches $1.5M Anti-Baldwin Buy

The statewide TV ad criticizes her over the Tomah VA scandal.

Concerned Veterans for America launched a $1.5 million TV ad statewide hitting Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D) over her response to the Tomah VA crisis. In the spot, a narrator says Baldwin sat on an inspection report about the facility for months. (Hotline reporting)

MORE ON NICHOLSON'S CLIENTS. Management consultant Kevin Nicholson's (R) “consulting clients includes companies owned, or invested in, by Pritzker Group, a financial firm started by J.B. Pritzker, a Democratic mega-donor and candidate for governor in Illinois. Nicholson reported last month that he had been paid at least $15,000 from Pritzker-related companies over the past two years.”

“Nicholson spokesman Brandon Moody did not address that work specifically, but said Monday that Nicholson has been ‘working hand in hand with the Senate Ethics Committee’ to fulfill his reporting requirements.” (AP)

Nicholson faces state Sen. Leah Vukmir (R) in the primary.
