Businessman Sandy Pensler (R) spent $50,000 to run ads during the Super Bowl, in which he touts his business background and promises to put “Michigan First." (Politico)

ANOTHER AD. Businessman John James (R) released a digital ad casting himself as a combat veteran, job creator, and conservative outsider. The spot also criticizes Pensler for dumping his own money into his campaign and running a Super Bowl ad, implying Pensler's consultants told him “the right political positions.” (release)
