“Thirteen Republicans and three Democrats filed enough signatures to make the ballot for a special primary election to replace” former Rep. Trent Franks (R), “state elections officials said Wednesday evening.” The special primary for the GOP-leaning seat is set for Feb. 27 and the special election will be held on April 24. Top contenders include: former state Sens. Steve Montenegro (R) and Debbie Lesko (R), former state Rep. Bob Stump and former Trump appointee Phil Lovas (R). (AP)
