McCaskill Raises $2.9M in Q4, Banks $9M

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) raised $2.9 million in the fourth quarter and began 2018 with more than $9 million on hand. “In 2017, McCaskill received support from over 107,000 donors, including almost 90,000 donors who had not previously given to her before.” She has raised $11.8 million overall in 2017. Her likely opponent, state Attorney General Josh Hawley (R) has not yet released his haul.

ON TAP. McCaskill backers are holding an “election year kickoff reception” for McCaskill on Jan. 19 in Soulard, MO. Organizers “include Ann Callis, Jim Holloran, Yvette and John Dubinsky, Dr. Jeffrey and Rebecca Marsh, politico Brian Wahby, former mayoral chief of staff Jeff Rainford and Missouri Botanical Garden president emeritus Peter H.
