Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-08) “says he’d ‘consider voting for’ Gov. Charlie Baker (R) in 2018, criticizing Democratic attacks trying to link the governor to failed GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore through Baker’s fundraising for the Republican National Committee.”

Lynch: “Charlie Baker is a good and decent man. … To tie him to a pedophile—come on, come on. That’s the worst of politics right there.” (Boston Herald)

THE DEMOCRATS ACTUALLY RUNNING. Newton Mayor Setti Warren (D) called on Baker “to stop blaming others for the shortfalls of his administration,” in response to recent reports on the state Department of Children and Families. (release)
