Schuette Secures GOP State Committee Support

State Attorney General Bill Schuette (R) announced Friday “he has received the endorsement of 50 Michigan Republican State Committee Members, including eight of 14 District Chairs.” (release)

Former state Senate Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer (D) attacked Schuette for using “his taxpayer-funded office to attack workers and serve special interests, citing his “Amicus Brief joined by 19 other states in support of the pending Supreme Court of the United States case Janus v. AFSCME Council 31, which seeks to undermine public employee unions and attack workers’ rights to build strong unions.” (release)
