Former Gov. Richard Codey (D) and state Assemblywoman Mila Jasey (D) endorsed ex-Navy helicopter pilot Mikie Sherrill (D). (release)

Sherrill hosted a Tuesday morning breakfast “at the Florham Park Diner, where about 50 Democratic leaders in the 11th Congressional District gathered to pledge support” Sherrill’s campaign to unseat Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R). (Daily Record)

Frelinghuysen faces his first serious reelection challenge in 2018 in his northern New Jersey district. Sherrill is in a crowded primary race.
