Gillum Hires Campaign Manager

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum’s (D) campaign announced Tuesday that Brendan McPhillips will take over as its new campaign manager.

McPhillips was previously political director for Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Pennsylvania and managed 2016 PA SEN candidate John Fetterman’s (D) campaign. (release)

Gillum’s previous campaign manager, Phillip Thompson, left in July. In the interm, senior adviser Scott Arceneaux and communications director Geoff Burgan took on day-to-day management of the campaign. (Hotline reporting)
