Businesswoman Laura Ellsworth (R) has retained Mike Slanker of November Inc. as her general consultant. He “has run successful campaigns” for governor and Congress and was political director of the NRSC.

He also brought on Pittsburgh-based Mark Harris of Cold Spark Media as a communications consultant. He previously ran Sen. Pat Toomey’s (R) 2010 campaign.

Nick Harris of Content Creative Media will direct media

Brian Tringali and Ed Goeas of the Tarrance Group will conduct her polling.

Majority Strategies will manage her direct mail.

Meanwhile, state Sen. Scott Wagner (R) has hired Jason High as his campaign manager.

Consultant Rob Bickhart of Capital Resources Group, who is Wagner’s finance chairman, has previously led financing for Sen. Rick Santorum (R) and the RNC.

His national fundraiser, Kate Doner of Austin-based Doner Fundraising, has worked on Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) campaigns, super PACs supporting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). (Hotline reporting)
