AAN Launches $3M Ad Blitz Touting Tax Reform

A poll from the group found bipartisan support for reforming the tax code.

The American Action Network launched a new $3 million ad campaign touting tax reform, bringing their total tax-related advocacy spending to $18 million. “The member-specific ads, featuring a Michigan working mother, Kendra Sroka, and her family, will air in 35 congressional districts across the country.”

BY THE NUMBERS. A GS Strategy Group national poll from AAN found 84 percent are in favor of tax reform and that includes bipartisan support. Of Democrats polled, 77 percent supported updating the tax code. “In some of the poll’s (Nov. 2-5; 1,000 LVs; +/- 3.1%) key findings, 57 percent of likely voters said their taxes are too high; 84 percent favor reforming the federal tax code; and 81 percent said doing so should be an “important priority,” if not the top priority.” (Washington Examiner)
