Jackley Leads in Straw Poll

He won a different straw poll by double-digits in March.

State At­tor­ney Gen­er­al Marty Jackley (R) handily won a straw poll of 1,761 Republican voters held at the South Dakota State Fair with 59.7 percent of the vote. Rep. Kristi Noem (R) came in second with 40.7 percent of the vote, while 2014 chal­lenger Lora Hub­bel (R) and Min­nehaha County Re­pub­lic­an Terry LaFleur (R) trailed with 1.1 percent and 0.3 percent of the vote, respectively.
