Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D) is “reconsidering running for re-election.”

“Perlmutter was approached by constituents and fellow colleagues in Congress about a re-election campaign” after he dropped out of the race for governor said he would not seek another term. (Colorado Springs Gazette)

Three state legislators are already in the Democratic primary to replace him: state Sens. Andy Kerr (R) and Dominick Moreno (D) and State Majority Whip Brittany Pettersen (D). Dan Baer (D), a former ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, joined the race last week. Hillary Clinton won the seat by 12 points last year.
