Environmental Attorney to Challenge Stefanik

The former Green Party nominee opted not to run.

Environmental attorney Don Boyajian (D) announced a run against Rep. Elise Stefanik (R). A former legislative aide to former Rep. Michael McMahon (D-13), he now works at a firm that “has represented communities affected by PCB contamination of the St. Lawrence and Hudson Rivers.” In a statement, he vowed to be a voice for rural communities in New York. The 2014 and 2016 Green Party nominee Matt Funiciello won’t make a third run for the district, but said two women were seriously considering running for the nomination. (Glens Falls Post-Star)
