Former state Rep. Victor Mitchell’s (R) campaign is going negative, after Mitchell went after “the fundraising practices” of Investment banker Doug Robinson (R) and attacked Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler (R) by saying attorneys “shouldn’t be anywhere near the executive branch of government.” (The Denver Post) Brauchler, for his part, fired back with a tweet mocking the line of attack: “Doug Robinson is too tall for #COGov. I call upon Doug to be shorter. Some are intimidated by height. #Nonsense” (Twitter)
