State At­tor­ney Gen­er­als Maura Healey (D-MA), Janet Mills (D-ME), and Lori Swan­son (D-MN) were among the 20 Demo­crats to sign on to “a let­ter call­ing for an in­de­pend­ent spe­cial coun­sel to probe Rus­si­an in­ter­fer­ence in­to the elec­tion.” (Ax­ios)

No Re­pub­lic­ans signed the let­ter, in­clud­ing pos­sible and de­clared can­did­ates such as state At­tor­neys Gen­er­al Marty Jackley (R-SD), Bill Schuette (R-MI), Mike DeW­ine (R-OH), Adam Lax­alt (R-NV), Derek Schmidt (R-KS), and Cyn­thia Coff­man (R-CO).
