Jones to Launch Campaign This Fall

The Republican acknowledged he’ll be outspent in the primary.

State Aud­it­or Gary Jones (R) “con­firmed Monday that he’s run­ning for gov­ernor. Jones … said he will form­ally launch his cam­paign in the fall.”

“Jones ac­know­ledged that he’ll be at a ma­jor fun­drais­ing dis­ad­vant­age to oth­er GOP can­did­ates such as Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb (R), who already has $1 mil­lion in his cam­paign ac­count, and Tulsa at­tor­ney Gary Richard­son (R), who said he’s will­ing to put at least $2.5 mil­lion of his own money in­to his cam­paign.” (AP)
