2014 gubernatorial nominee Paul Davis (D) said Thursday he’s considering a bid for the seat Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R) will vacate in 2018. Davis, a former state representative who narrowly lost to Gov. Sam Brownback (R) two years ago, “said he was encouraged by the results Tuesday of” the KS-04 special election where civil rights attorney James Thompson (D) … lost to Rep.-elect Ron Estes (R).
