The National Republican Congressional Committee is investing more than $90,000 “to pump up Republican enthusiasm and turnout in a district that President Donald Trump carried by 27 percentage points just a few months ago.” The TV and digital ad hits civil rights attorney James Thompson (D), who faces state Treasurer Ron Estes (R) in the April 11 election for former Rep. Mike Pompeo’s (R) seat. Some Republicans are concerned Estes’ “margin is closer than expected” for the deep red district. (Politico)
