Rep. Dina Titus (D-01) said she will decide within the next few months whether to challenge Sen. Dean Heller (R). “Titus, speaking Thursday on Nevada Newsmakers, cited Nevada voter registration numbers that favor Democrats as a factor that would be in her favor if she decided to run.”
"Yeah, I'm thinking about it," she said. "A lot of people have asked me to do it. Right now, I think the demographics of Nevada would point to a Democratic victory. And I've got a lot of things I disagree with Dean Heller on."
She also said she has been told that state Senate Majority Leader Aaron Ford (D), who has been floated as a possible Heller challenger, will run for attorney general. (Las Vegas Sun)
Meanwhile, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson (D) said recently that he has been approached about challenging Heller and is “continuing discussions" about his political future. (Nevada Independent)
